About the Journal

Abuja Journal of Accounting and Finance (AJAF) is a quarterly double-blind peer reviewed referred open access online and print-journal that provides outlet for articles in all fields of accounting and Finance. The journal is a publication of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Abuja, Nigeria. 

We aim to foster the dissemination of high-quality, impactful research that advances knowledge and understanding in all areas of accounting – Taxation, public sector Accounting, Auditing and Investigation, Forensic Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting Techniques, Corporate Financial Reporting and corporate governance. The journal seeks to provide a platform for academics, practitioners, policymakers and Students to engage with innovative research, theoretical insights, and practical applications that address contemporary challenges and opportunities in Accounting and Finance.

Our scope encompasses a broad range of topics within the fields of Accounting and Finance, including but not limited to Digital Accounting, Oil and Gas Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting Techniques, Taxation, public sector Accounting, Auditing and Forensic Accounting, Corporate Financial Reporting and corporate governance. The journal particularly welcomes submissions that contribute to the theoretical development and practical implications of Accounting and Finance in both developed and emerging economies.
